2.Memorize the type chart, or at least keep good notes at your side Like with many other games, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle drops characters into specific categories that are strong or weak against other types. 55% = (1.5 + 0.01 * 6) * 1.015 = 1.5834 For instance, placing General Tao, Tien and Chiaotzu or even Saiyan fighters in the right formation will give them a stat boost.Instead of 0.05 (5%) per level, it also interacts in a different way. The formula is: TAB interacts differently, instead of 0.05 (5%) per level, TAB effects crit in a different way against an enemy you are effective against just based on typing. It has been tested at 0%, the critical modifier is 1.875 Remember it is used for those that are advantage modifiers You may be questioning, how does it get higher? Well, the TAB from the hidden potential plays the role, raising the alignment modifier by 0.05 or 5% per level. Now for rainbow, you may have noticed it is 1.131725. Now you may ask, how did you get this? There is a formula you may have spotted on my latest post Opposite Class, Disadvantaged - 0.5 (F)Īt 0%, the average modifier would be 1.030225.Opposite Class, Advantage Over - 1.5 (B).Those modifiers below given, has been tested at 0% Potential System The higher the ability, the more damage dealt. Type Advantage Boost is an ability that the damage you deal against Types you have an advantage over will slightly increase. Let's say you have an AGL enemy, when you attack STR (The arrow is upwards) and TEQ (The arrow is downwards) The skills offer just biger variety of options to the player.Type Advantage Boost - What is it exactly, and how it works?Īs you may have read from my last post "How to calculate APT", you may have seen the TAB step with their formulas, and what the numbers 1,15, 1, 1.75, 2 meansĪs you know, there are 5 elements (AGL, TEQ, INT, STR, PHY) and 2 classes (Super & Extreme). Each class is playable, and the equality and build comes more from items, not skills.

I don’t know about you, but i have considerable variety of different MMORPGs to draw upon, Diablo 2 is still going strong even though it’s OLDER than Shaiya, with worse graphics, has ongoing PvP, even though it’s much lesser in quality than Shaiya… with simple words worse resources, better result. You obviously disagree with me, I obviously disagree with you even more.
DOKKANN TYPE ADVATANGE DMG BOOST PATCH
Many games have disbalance problems that are constant with each new patch and feature in the game, but they OFFER a much wider variety of classes and chances for the player to find gameplay he’she LIKES, not forced to play of limited percent of available classes. Not to speak WHO as a completely new player will stay in game when not only it’s trully hard to gear up and max, to be allowed in PvP, but he/she doesn’t have the ability to play each classes equally? There is a pretty big audience of players that DO NOT like melee/fighter type characters and prefer casters.

DOKKANN TYPE ADVATANGE DMG BOOST FULL
My point is when Guard/Def Full Dex has 6 more linking slots than Sin/Rang and Hunt/Arch full Dex builds, it’s ridiculous to talk about skill twitching to balance. Some 8 years ago i have played a week in private server that had completely different classes and skills, which hook me tremendously, so it is doable, just probably unlikely.

I can make many more examples, and even though I DO like the idea of build and specialisation variety A LOT, it is undoubtedly a major undertaking that we will probably never see implemented. Got it as a quest reward, sold Herods sword immediately and havent looked back (I only use Longsword, No shield or Bow in this playthrough).
DOKKANN TYPE ADVATANGE DMG BOOST UPGRADE
Yep, this is why I wont upgrade from St Michaels sword. Shaiya doesn’t have that and skill points allocation isn’t all that different, you will never see Full INT Guard/Def, simply because there isn’t a “mage type tank”. Besides the maintenance perks can boost your weapon quite a lot so even with a mid tier weapon, you still destroy everything late game. Your option will work ONLY if there is “class specialisations” similar system to World of Warcraft where one class can have 2 or more diferent set of talents and skills, which make different gameplay viable. I completely disagree with your “variety of builds through new skills” because if you are playing other MMORPGs like WoW, FFXIV, Diablo 2/3 and others equality starts in first place at equipment, not at skills…. The whole point of that option is A) to add more to economy with more items which benefits the creators too B) to lvl the playing field in first place at equipment.
